Dr. Charles Jakait Sangalo is a seasoned medical practitioner, healthcare executive, and national leader in Kenya’s health sector. He is widely recognized for his clinical expertise and strong advocacy for healthcare quality, with extensive experience in clinical management, occupational health, and medical professional governance.

As Vice-President of the Kenya Medical Association (KMA), Dr. Jakait plays a central role in advancing national healthcare policy reform, supporting the welfare of medical practitioners, and upholding ethical standards across the profession.

In clinical practice, he serves as Medical Director at Cedar Clinical Associates and Cedar Hospital in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County. Beyond this role, he is a certified Designated Health Practitioner (DHP) in Occupational Safety and Health. In this capacity, he conducts specialized workplace risk evaluations, occupational health audits, and employee health assessments, helping organizations maintain regulatory compliance and high safety standards under Kenyan law.
